GATHERING PERSONAL DATA
We, the Services Bureau Youth Migration Services, take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We handle your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations as well as this Privacy Notice.
Personal data means individual details about the personal or material circumstances of a specific or identifiable natural person. This includes information such as the name, address, postal address, telephone number. Information that cannot be linked to your identity (such as the number of users of the website) is not included. You can use our website services without disclosing your identity.
When you make a contact request, we ask you for your name and other personal information. You are free to choose whether to provide this data. We store your details on secure servers in Germany. These can be accessed only by a few authorised persons who are involved in the technical, commercial or editorial maintenance of the servers.
In connection with your access, data is temporarily stored on our servers for security purposes that could possibly permit identification (e.g. IP address, date, time and pages viewed). The IP address will then be anonymised. It is not used to identify a website visitor and no directly personal or pseudonymous user profiles are created. We reserve the right to statistically evaluate anonymous data records. However, we reserve the right to check the log data retrospectively if there is a justified suspicion of illegal use based on concrete evidence.
MAKING CONTACT
When you contact us using the contact form or by e-mail, we store your details solely for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in the event of further follow-up questions.
FORWARDING PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES
We do not forward any personal data to third parties without your express consent.
INFORMATION, BLOCKING, ERASURE
Within the context of the applicable statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about your saved personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of the data processing, and if necessary the right to correct, block or erase this data. If you have any questions about this, or questions on other personal data aspects, you may contact us at any time using the address provided in the legal notice.
SSL/TLS ENCRYPTION
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, e.g. user name and password when logging in to the protected area of the internet portal, this site uses SSl/TLS encryption. An encrypted link can be identified by the fact that the browser address line switches from “http://” to “https://” and the padlock symbol appears in your browser line.
When SSL/TLS encryption is activated, the data you forward to us cannot be read by any third party.
USE OF COOKIES
We use cookies to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions. These are small text files that are saved on your device. Cookies do not contain any personal data, and the cookies we use on this website are erased at the end of the browser session, i.e. when you close your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your device and enable us to recognise your browser the next time you visit (persistent cookies).
Most browsers are set in such a way that they automatically accept cookies. However, you can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser to inform you as soon as cookies are sent. If cookies are not accepted, the functions of this website may be restricted.
Cookies that are required to perform electronic communications or to provide certain functions desired by you (e.g. registration in the protected area of the internet portal) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. The storage of cookies serves the technically flawless and optimised provision of the services provided by us. Insofar as other cookies (e.g. cookies used to analyse your surf behaviour) are stored, these – insofar as they are deployed – are detailed separately in this Privacy Notice.
SERVER LOG FILES
The website provider automatically collects and saves information in so-called server log files that your browser automatically transfers to us. These are:
Browser type and browser version
Operating system used
Referrer URL
Host name of the accessing computer
Time of the server enquiry
IP address
This data is not merged with other data sources.
The basis for the data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which permits the processing of data to fulfil a contract or pre-contractual measures.
INTEGRATION OF THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND CONTENT
Within this online service we use third party content, such as videos from YouTube, map material from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites. For this reason, these providers of such content (hereinafter called “Third-Party Providers”) store the IP address of users. This is because you would not be able to send the content to the browser of the respective user without the IP address. The IP address is consequently needed to show this content. We make every effort to use only content whose respective providers use the IP address merely to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on whether the third-party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. Insofar as this is known to us, we will inform users about it.
